September 27 Update on my mothers condition.
-I got an E-mail update from my aunt just now.
Phil,
I just got off the phone with your mother. She sounds 50 - 75% better. She was getting too much sleeping medicine. She was getting sleeping pills plus 2 anti-depressants plus Zertex (antihistimane). Margaret checked with her pharamist and found out 3 of them were causing deep sleep. We all could tell something had been added. Brenda called the nurse after Margaret called her back and they found out that 2 of the pills were supposed to be taken "As Needed" - not all the time. No wonder she was that bad - anybody would have been.
The only thing I can suggest is when you see her and you feel she needs to go to the hospital, don't take no for an answer. She is so afraid of the nursing home that she is fearful of the hospital.
Hope you have a good visit this week end. She should be more like herself by then.

Happy Labor day.
Yeah , I have to work on Labor day. I saw on TV that Steve crocodile hunter Irwin was killed by a stingray today. I always liked the crocodile hunter, Rest in peace Steve.
